Did you know that you are supposed to wash your new clothes before wearing them?
Today, I will be sharing with you 10 reasons why you need to wash your clothes before wearing them:
1. Literally everybody has tried it on.
When you go buying a cloth, you ought to fit it first, and if it doesn’t fit you, then that clearly means that you will remove it and leave it behind. How many people do you think have tried it on and left their cologne on that outfit?
2. Reduce your chances of getting a skin disease.
Many people try those clothes on, and you don’t know if they have a skin disease on them. Always make sure you wash them first to save yourself the trouble.
3. It will save your marriage.
For instance, if you bought an outfit and didn’t consider washing it, you wore it immediately, and the last person to try it on left all her cologne on it. How would you explain it to your spouse? Would you say it was just a hug?
Save yourself the trouble and do the necessary.
4. Many others lack hygiene.
In the sense that someone might just think of coming to just get themselves clean from an exercise they were at, and they were filled with sweat, so they opt to go and try a few clothes and get themselves cleaned.
You surely don’t want to go around smelling sweat.
5. Other people intentionally leave clothes on the floor.
One tried the clothes, and they didn’t fit them, so they drop them on the floor and leave them being stepped over by people, hence leaving some dirt and dust that might expose you to asthma and not looking decent.
6. People often return worn clothes.
One may have tried fitting a cloth, and it didn’t fit them in the process; hence, they always opt to return them to the seller because they were not present to try them on.
7. A night of etiquette
Ever heard of hiring a suit or cloth? There are those who purchase an item of clothing just to wear on a night out. They leave the label on, wear the garment for hours on end, and then return it the next day. The items are then put back on the rack and never washed.
8. Contamination from the Warehouse to the Store
Those working in the industry have spoken about the risks of contamination that come from handling the clothing on its journey from the warehouse to the store.
So why would you assume it is clean? It is not!
9. Not a Completely Legit Package
Even though clothes are packaged in individual bags, those bags can break, tear, or have holes, allowing dust, mites, and dirt to accumulate on certain garments. Don’t take your chances.
10. It’s advisable to do so.
It seems clear that the first and best thing to do after buying new clothes is to wash them and avoid contamination, such as lice, dermatitis, allergies, rashes, or pimples.
I bet you didn’t see that coming now. Don’t forget to do the right thing unless you are ready for all that.
