Here is the Reason Why Nelly ChepKoech Cancelled Her Wedding in the last Minute

Nelly Chepkoech, a Kalenjin lady who was supposed to get married, cancelled her wedding at the last minute, has finally issued a reason as to why that happened.

She said that her wedding couldn’t go ahead as planned because of delays in getting some letter approvals that were supposed to be a green light for them to go ahead and wed.

“Leo ingekua siku yangu ya harusi, lakini jana tulifika tukaambiwa harusi haiwezi endelea because of the delays of the letters, but honestly, we had anxiously waited for this day, and the fact it didn’t happen just shocks all of us, including myself.” Nelly explained.

She says the heartbreaking news really hit them hard, as they were not expecting it to happen, leaving everyone in tears from both ends.

Nelly told the online community that she is still at home, hasn’t gone anywhere, and is still undecided and lost on what she should go ahead and do.

After deep research on what really made the wedding not happen, the truth was revealed about the duo who were to wed (Nelly Chepkoech and Amos). It was decided that the wedding would be stopped because their courtship was so short and they were not eligible to wed because they had dated for only 6 months, and according to the pastor, this period of time is very short. The pastor felt that they should know each other better before they wed, as he felt they were rushing things. “Ilikua saa tisa hivi jana nilipo ongea na kasisi aliyekua mwenye angeunganisha. My son-in-law Amos and Nelly, that’s when niliambiwa ndoa yao haitaendelea sababu nikua ni changa kwa sababu wamekutana miezi sita.” Nelly’s father clarified

The above words were conformed by Nelly’s father, who inquired from the pastor issuing the above reason. Even though the decision was made, Nelly’s father had gone to Amos’s family and issued five cows and some money as a sign of appreciation.
