Kenyan evangelist Pastor Kanyari has shared the reason why they buried his sister quickly.
Speaking to his congregants at a Sunday service, he said that he opted to do so because he and his family didn’t want embarrassment and to avoid a lot of attention and digging that was coming from the press and government officials.
“Niliambia familia yangu tumzike haraka kwa sababu sikua nataka hawa watu wa media wanisumbue… Kanyari, Kanyari, ooh, sister, ya Kanyari.” Pst. Kanyari shared.
Kanyari added that he even reversed some of the money that he had received from well-wishers and sympathizers, showing their support in order to have a well-send-off.
“Alikufa Thursday: Saa Kumi. Friday: Tukatayarisha Kila Kitu Saturday, tukamzika tukiwa watu ishrini maanake hatukutaka aibu.” Kanyari said.
Pastor Kanyari, who was emotionally disturbed when sharing the story, added that they admitted that his sister was out of character and there’s little they could do about it, rather than accepting her fate and burying her. As that is who she has been all along.
He urged his congregants to remain strong in faith, as they will receive a lot of criticism from the public considering the fact that they are fellowshipping in a church whose leader was her brother, belonging to the lady who was murdered.
