African music legends, Sauti Sol, have announced that they will be holding their final performance as a group.

The band will back off from doing group projects after their on coming world tour, with a final shot for their home fans that’s scheduled on December 16, 2023.

They released a statement on May 20th, 2023 announcing that they will be performing in the US, Europe and Canada. A show that they said will be their last together.

“We are excited to announce that Sauti Sol, Africa sensational musical powerhouse, will embark on an exhilarating tour Canada before taking an indefinite hiatus.

The upcoming tour across the US, Europe and Canada is a chance for fans to immerse themselves in the magic of Sauti Sol one last time, before the band takes a break from group projects for a while.”

The statement went on saying that the team is looking to working on their individual brands and explore other avenues.

They also acknowledged and thanked the public for their support and assured the public that their bond will always hold despite them taking a break from working together as a group.

“Sauti Sol has been an incredible journey for us, both as musicians and friends, shared the band members. We are filled with gratitude for the love and support we have received throughout the years.

While we take this hiatus to pursue our individual and collective passions, we remain committed to our friendship and our shared business. The bond between us is unbreakable.”

Sauti sol also promised their Kenyan fans a show on the 16th December 2023.
