Nigerian artist Ayra Starr has shared the secret to having a glowing skin.

Speaking during an interview with our very own Liz Jackson, she said that her secret is using a perfect foundation, concealer and powder as part of the foundation process that helps the skin relax.

She said that initially she used to have a hard time with make up, but ever since she learned how to use the products especially the ones she came to partner with, she has been embracing it.

She also recommended a couple of ointments that ladies should consider using if they want to have a glowing skin.

“Purple liner on Brown girls, Purple and orange blush on black and brown girl, and they are to use a highlighter because of texture so that it gives them a glowing finish.”

She shared the greatest challenge she has ever had with makeup, was the fact that she wasn’t able to stick with one artist who could do her face considering she used to travel a lot.

Ayra Starr came to Kenya to partner with Maybelline New York company as the brand’s spokesperson for Sub Saharan Africa that deals with beauty products, something she promised will grow in due time as there will be more products that will be availed.

The Bloody Samaritan hit maker will represent the brand across the african region as well as partake in initiatives that empower women.

The Managing director (Yassine Bakari) said that they chose to use Ayra Starr so that they can target the youths considering the large number of fans she has, as well as encourage the public that they can get whatever they want as long as they work for it.

She also connected with Kenyan Brand ambassador and content creator Azziad whom they were seen having a nice time together at the red carpet.

Ayra Starr is a young Nigerian artist that has been known for her latest hit song called rush, which has over 150 million views on YouTube.
