Wyre Talks about his Newly Built Music Platform

Kenyan popular artist Wyre has talked about his newly created music platform called ‘Blow’

Speaking in an interview with our very own Journalist Nthenya, He said that he joined the Tech world hence the reason he hasn’t been in the spotlight lately, He took the opportunity and came up with a music platform to support artists by helping artists monetize their art much easier.

Asked his secret to remaining relevant for 20 plus years in the industry is because of his uniqueness, the quest of wanting to have his own originality in what he does without necessarily coping or emulating what the others are doing.

“The quest to be unique with my sound, I never shy away from experimenting, as I never shy away from working with the new artists.”

Wyre urged artists to consider working with the upcoming artists, as that will help in marketing their music as well.

Wyre also shared the challenges of the music industry lately and the effects of the developing technology saying that in the new era unlike the old days artists are under pressure to deliver by seeing that they have dropped a track time and time again so that they remain relevant and don’t lose their audience as well as get to compete with other artists.

He although acknowledged the introduction of the new technology, saying it has greatly helped the artists, especially when it comes to keeping safe their work.
