Kenyan media personality Miss Kithinji has responded to the public who are trolling her for the newly released ‘The Rise and Fall of Gengetone’ Documentary.

Speaking via her social media page, our very own journalist Betty clarified, saying that people should stop drawing conclusions based on a simple title they saw and consider watching the full documentary and getting to understand the whole story.

In regards to the discussions around the title of our documentary, The Rise and Fall of Gengetone, I want to clarify that the intention was to shed light on Gengetone’s evolution and explore how we can learn from its journey.

There’s a lot of information in the documentary that goes beyond the title. We have captured its highs, lows, and everything in between. It’s not about clickbait; it’s about sparking curiosity and initiating meaningful conversations,” part of Betty’s statement read.
