Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s attempt to have access to his bank accounts has been turned down by the court.
The Mombasa High Court judge Olga Sewe decided that the New life’s leader accounts remain frozen as per the directives issued on May 8th on 2023.
She also turned down the application seeking to open the pastor’s Evangelism TV Station.
The Judge, however, said that the church services can go on as usual.
Pastor Ezekiel’s bank accounts were frozen for 30 days following an application that was directed by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations. The main reason for the freezing of his bank accounts is because the accounts were receiving heavy transactions, something that they have said doesn’t ad up and they are looking into it.
Pastor Ezekiel is out on Bond, having being accused that he is associated with the Shakahola massacare.
