Liverpool & Arsenal have extinguished their hopes of clinching the Premier League title after they lost precious points while at their homeground.

Liverpool hosted Crystal Palace at Anfield over the weekend, with hopes of climbing the top spot.

But their hopes were thrashed by Crystal Palace midfielder Eze, who rolled the ball into Liverpool’s nest after a clean cut-back cross from their right back player Mitchell. The goal was enough to secure 3 points for Crystal Palace as the game ended in a 1-0 victory for Crystal.

On the other hand, an exquisite performing Arsenal couldn’t fight back at home with Aston Villa as they lost 2-0 to the Villans.

Aston Villa’s winger Leon Bailey was on the scoresheet as he hurled a left-footed cross from Digne.

Ollie Watkins scored a late winner with a brilliant effort from the half-way line, catching Arsenal’s defenders off-guard with a counter-attack.

Even though Arsenal created numerous chances, Villa’s goalkeeper Martinez kept his clean sheet with a 5 star performance.

Liverpool had already garnered 71 points from 32 games. They now tie with Arsenal, who sit on top of them by goal difference.
