Kenyan reality TV show actress Mercy Kyallo has opened up about how her engagement happened.

Speaking in a brief interview session, she said that she is officially off market and the engagement was quite different from what she has always been envisioning in her mind and seeing on social media platforms.

“The engagement was pretty much more like a conversation; it is not like what you see on Instagram when one goes down. He was like, Can we go somewhere? I also realized that we put on a lot of pressure and a lot of fake expectations, and people are people; everybody is different.

And it will be unfair of you to ask your man or anyone in your life to do it like Kanye does it. so I felt it in my heart to let him do it the way he wanted to do it.” Mercy Kyallo explained.

Mercy Kyallo, who declared she is officially off market, said that her husband, who goes by the name ‘Marvin’, is a loving and supportive partner that has helped her realize the different version of herself that she hasn’t yet discovered.

“I will say I am happy because I don’t have to pretend to be someone else, like I am a strong woman. First of all, he doesn’t like me calling myself a strong woman. He is like, You are delicate, and I will take care of you. This is a partnership in which we can be co-dependent.

I feel like for a very long time I had this masculine trace, which is independence, standing for yourself. Now that you have a partner, you can’t be those things.” Mercy Kyallo shared.
