Georgina Speaks On How Getting Pregnant landed an Heavy Blow On Her Life

Kenyan content creator and influencer Georgina Njenga has opened up, revealing how getting pregnant turned her life around.

Speaking in an interview with Obinna TV, she said that having a child at such a young age caught her by surprise, as she never anticipated that she could end up missing out on a lot of things, especially sleeping at night.

“My life stopped for like a year when I got pregnant… I was kind of depressed because the whole experience was something else.” Georgina shared.

Georgina, who said she dealt with the depression by isolating herself from the public and would cry herself down in the house, also revealed that her baby came out earlier than anticipated.

She advised young teenagers to consider identifying themselves by building their lives and empires first before rushing into early pregnancies, even if they are over 18 years old, as they might just be signing into something they are not ready for yet.

According to Georgina, a mother of one, parenting demands a lot of sacrifice and availability for the child, especially undivided attention, and she feels like at such a young age it would be hard to give that as you are still figuring out your life.

She, however, commended her baby daddy, Tyler Mbaya, for always being supportive and always walking alongside her the whole time.

Georgina, who gave birth at 6 months, said that raising the baby hasn’t been easy, but thanks to her supportive family members and friends, she has been able to raise her all along until now that she has grown and is crawling.
