Akothee Introduces Her New Kindergarten School

Kenyan artist, Brand Ambassador, and CEO of Akothee Safari, Esther Akoth, known for her stage name ‘Akothee’, has flagged off her new project ‘Akothee Academy’ in town, thanking heavens for what she has been able to accomplish so far.

Speaking through her social media page, Akothee broke the news, saying she is officially opening her new project that she has been working on silently and is now open to all those interested in supporting her new initiative, which is to help and nurture the less privileged. To simply reach out to her.

She has already adopted over 30 children and enrolled them in the new academy called ‘Akothee Academy’.

I’ve chosen to keep my journeys private on social media, opting to share the end results. Presenting Akothee Academy’s kindergarten classes (PP1 and PP2) is a heartfelt gift to my community. As we progress towards primary and junior secondary levels, which I will share shortly, my vision is to contribute to the educational landscape. Rakwaro Kanyawendo, where I’ve built my retirement home, is now home to this kindergarten. Recognizing the need for a safe space for children under 5, I aim to provide mothers with a place where they can entrust their kids while pursuing livelihoods.” Part of Akothee’s statement read:

Her commitment, or rather, ambition, is to educate the children, ensuring that they are instilled with character and high self-esteem. Adding on to that, as a sign of showing she is a supportive mother, she has employed mothers to work in her institutions so that they can also earn an honest living and be in a position to combat this hard-hitting economy.

Esther Akoth Kokeyo, the CEO of Akothee Foundation, has equally adopted 30 pupils from vulnerable families under Akothee Foundation sponsorship programs.
