Opposition leader Raila Odinga has made a breaking announcement, declaring that demonstrations will be held two times a week.

The days are Monday and Thursday of every week until the demands are met, the demonstrations will keep going on.

Raila made an announcement just earlier today saying that changes have been made because of the public demand. Initially, the Azimio leader had directed protests every Monday but had now added another day.

Yesterday in the capital city of Nairobi and other parts of the country there were demonstrations of people wanting the high cost of living to be reduced or work hard to impeach the Kenya Kwanza Government in reason that they have failed to deliver what they promised.

The Azimio leader led people yesterday while demonstrating all around the city of Nairobi, even though they were prevented from accessing the Central Business District (CBD) they did make their point.

However, the Kenya kwanza Government, led by President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, tweeted on their page telling the Azimio leader to consider stopping the demonstrations and let Kenyans work. They also hinted that due to the demonstrations this closure of businesses, Kenya lost over 1 billion yesterday. Even the Kenya airways was shut just because of the demonstrations.

Raila Odinga together with his party mate Martha Karua and among other leaders that run with the Azimio ticket (Gladys wanga, peter Salasya, Edwin Sifuna, Eugene Wamalwa,Steven Kalonzo, Junet Mohammed among many others were on the streets leading the crowd in demonstrations.

Their demands still stand, but the one they want to be attended to immediately is the high cost of living to be looked into.
