Kamene Goro Reveals The Reason that Made Her Ditch Kiss 100

Kenyan media personality Kamene Goro has shared the reason that made her stop hosting the morning show at Kiss 100 alongside her co-host Obinna.

Speaking in an interview with Tuko Extra, she dismissed anything to do with having been fired from the company, hinting that she was the one who decided to drop the job because it was affecting her health.

“I don’t intend on renewing my contract, and I don’t want to renew my contract… I am not enjoying the job that I am doing anymore; it is starting to wear down on my health.” Kamene Goro responded to her contractor at Kiss 100.

She went on, adding that her health improved instantly. She left Kiss because at last her body would finally be able to relax compared to the way she used to overwork, insisting that she wasn’t fired; she just decided to take her level out of health conditions.

“I wasn’t fired, and I said I don’t want to renew the contract, and they said don’t renew the contract then.”

The former radio presenter went to the point of saying she has all the documents and the contract about the job, and anyone interested in confirming can ask her to provide them with the same.

She shared the painful experience she was undergoing, especially waking up early in the morning, which was unbearable. She thanked her boyfriend for always sticking with her and always believing in her at every step of the way.

Although she admitted to having missed her listeners more, she has preferred to choose the headspace she has at the moment, which allows her to think straight and do things in a more structured way without compromising her health.

“I can wake up on Monday and decide to go to Diani for like a week… I am living my life the way I want to live it, the way I wanted to live it.” Kamene said.

She is currently engaged to DJ Bonez and is not currently working at any radio station. She concluded by advising the public to not stay in an area where things are not aligning, encouraging them to proudly take their leave as long as it works in their favor.
