According to him, all the international shows that he hasn’t featured in are because the event organizers and sponsors haven’t measured to his level to afford him, as he believes his rate card is too high for him to afford.

“If you’ve not seen me on a big show, hawajafika bei.” Bahati added.

He hinted that all the big shows happening in the country he has been to and those he hasn’t considered venturing into are basically because the company isn’t in a position to afford him.

He responded to the question of why he isn’t rolling with other big artists, saying that for an artist, being in a big show doesn’t mean he is being paid well, and as for him, he doesn’t settle for less as he knows his worth.

The gospel artist also, on the same note, shared his charges for a club appearance with 4 million Ksh.

“For club appearance, it’s 4 million, and for any main stage, it is 1 million and 1.8 if it is a band.” Bahati hinted.

He also said that he is past curtain-raising as he is the main event man, adding that at the end of the day, it is not about being kind; it is about knowing your value and worth.
