Why Diamond Platnumz cancelled wedding after months of planning

East Africa sensation Diamond Platnumz was set to wed a lady identified as Sofia a while back, but unfortunately decided to call off the wedding.

This was revealed by the singer’s eldest sisiter, Esma Platnumz who recently opened up during an interview with Wasafi Media.

According to Esma Platnumz the wedding had already been planned and dowry paid in full, only for Diamond Platnumz to call it quits.

“Diamond had already made and prepared everything but a few days to the D Day, he canceled.”

Seeing this, Esma Platnumz says that both parents from the groom and bride-to-be tried forcing the singer to change his mind, but Diamond refused.

“We tried forcing Diamond to wed a certain lady called Sofia, we even gave dowry.”

When asked his reasons for calling it quits, Esma went on to reveal that her brother said he was not ready to take in a wife.

“My mum even tried to force him but he refused to and told us he would only get married when the time is right.”

Adding;

“I cannot choose a woman for him because he cannot also choose a man for me.”

Diamond Platnumz dating history

Apart from Sofia who we know nothing about, Diamond has always paraded his women on his social media pages.

So far he has dated Zari Hassan, Hamisa Mobetto and Tanasha Donna who double up as his baby mamas.

Other known exes include Wema Sepetu, Poshy, Lynne, Zuchu among other Bongo actresses but remains a single man till date.
