Kenyan YouTuber and video director Trevor has denied allegations of having been involved in physically abusing his ex-girlfriend, Mungai Eve.
Speaking on the ‘Iko Nini’ podcast, he opened up, saying that he never hit Mungai Eve, as she was the one who hit him instead with a cooking stick on the head, and it left a mark on his forehead.
He denied having been the one who hit her, saying she intentionally went to Kenyan blogger Edgar Obare to give her false first-hand information so that she could defy his image and change the whole narrative that had already arrived at Edgar Obare’s desk.
Trevor went ahead, questioning his interviewee, saying that if at all he had hit her, then why did she not issue any evidence before Edgar Obare? “Edgar husema send evidence angekua ashatuma ya kwanza. Alienda tuh kuchange story ndio isionekane aty dem anaeza piga boy.” Director Trevor shared.
Trevor, who didn’t want to disclose the reason as to why Mungai Eve hit him, hesitantly said that it was something petty, and as much as it made him bleed, it’s in the past, and he chose not to go to lengths about it.
“Ilikua tuh something small. Haikua kitu kubwa nilikua natumia charger yake, and she was like, …..Mbona unatumia charger yangu. Akachukua simu yangu akatupa.” Trevor explained.
