Kenyan-Mugithi artist Lawrence Njuguna Commonly known as Dj Fatxo, he speaks about why he normally walks with high-end security.

Speaking to the press during the E360 Awards, he said he walks around with security so that they help keep his girlfriend safe, refuting any claims to do with fearing for his life.

“Whenever you happen to become a celebrity, you can’t be moving around with no security like a madman. People will snatch whatever good you hold dear, even your own person. Who knows? Ni mama nalinda na wao silindi kitu yoyote.” Dj Fatxo clarified.

He also talked about having lost brands that he was working with, saying that as much as it was a blow, he accepted his fate and is now working with those who have him, and it doesn’t really stress him much, saying other brands will reach out to him eventually and what left was definitely not meant to stay.

“Wenye walienda walienda… Tunawachukulia kama Ex God tuh atawaleta wengine na hao ndio wamefanya tufike hapa mahali tuko.” Dj Fatxo shared

The Mugithi artist, a while back last year, was involved in a murder case involving a young teenager by the name of Jeff Mwathi, who was supposedly thrown off his balcony. This is moments after Dj Fatxo was seen walking into his apartment on Thika Road, Roysambu, with him. Since the case was revolving around him, many brands dropped him because they felt like they were associating themselves with one whose scandals might just cost their business.

DJ Fatxo was given notice and relocated from the premises. He is currently still doing his music and is always in and out of the country. His case was ruled, and he was declared not guilty. And he is now a free man working on his own brand.
