Children and property are the two major reasons that can bring unending conflict in a family. Well there are those who fight over child custody and those, like in Zari’s case who fight over a dead relatives properties i.e companies, land and houses.
Just recently Zari Hassan shared details of ongoing battle between her and late husband’s, Ivan Ssemwanga relatives who she accused of wanting to control all his properties despite having left a will.
Excuse you, I am the legal guardian and I have done my job to raise my sons, I have done my job to raise my kids. I know where I stand, I know how I am fighting to raise my kids, I know what I am doing with my kids, Zari said adding;
My friend, don’t try me, don’t try me. I won’t be a clown in their circus.
Speaking during an interview with Sanyuka TV, Zari Hassan opened up claiming the relatives have been claiming that she has been neglecting her kids with Ivan – hence the reason they now want control over his properties.
Seeing that this is something that had been plotted against her, Zari Hassan on the other hand hit back accusing the same relatives of pretending to be ‘good family members’ yet none has ever stepped in to check in the boys since their dads demise.Zar
Zari went on to add that these relatives have no idea of how the kids live, school or eat – yet they accuse her of failing at motherhood.
They don’t know how the kids are educated, they don’t know their medical needs, they don’t know what they eat, Zari went on.
Ivan and Zari Hassan
Having married Ivan Ssemwanga, a Ugandan Tycoon back in 2004 the couple unfortunately parted ways in 2014 following marital issues.
Zari Hassan however moved on with Diamond Platnumz – a move that helped build her brand in East Africa.
The socialite however remained friends with her ex husband whom she shared 3 sons with until his demise in 2017 following heart related issues.
No sooner had Ivan Ssemwanga been buried than the relatives started coming after Zari for the properties left; only to find out Ivan Ssemwanga had named his eldest son Pinto, as the official heir to his property, with his mother acting as the custodian who would then help their boys manage the businesses.
