Deadly Attack Near Johannesburg
The first shooting happened at a tavern in Wedela township, southwest of Johannesburg, on Saturday night.
Eight armed men reportedly stormed the establishment and opened fire on people gathered both outside and inside the venue.
The attackers were reportedly armed with assault rifles and pistols. They also searched some victims and took their mobile phones before escaping in two vehicles.

Ten people were killed while another 11 were wounded.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack and have not confirmed whether it was connected to the shooting near Johannesburg. No arrests had been reported in either case at the time of the latest updates.
