Detectives are looking into the murder of a young lady who was stabbed in an apartment alleged to be an airbnb in Roysambu, Nairobi, Kenya.

Reports indicate that after being stabbed by her killer, the woman’s body was chopped into pieces and stuffed in black plastic paper bags.

Detectives from Kasarani police station were called in and cordoned off the scene, with investigations commencing.

The motive behind the killing is yet to be uncovered, as the identity of the lady is still unknown as her head was carried from the scene of the crime by the serial killer, whose identity is still unknown.

Through videos shared online, residents on Thika Road in Roysambu looked surprised, wondering what had happened, whereas others are now flagging all the bnbs in that area.

The house manager of the airbnb, Risper Muthoni, said that an unidentified person booked the airbnb on Saturday at 3 p.m., and after making payments, she didn’t follow much about what he was doing at the premise.

“At around 3 p.m. in the evening, the person in question called, asking that he wanted a house, and usually we don’t always follow up with the person after they have made payments.

At around 8, the caretaker called me, telling me he had seen black garbage bags and white sheets after seeing streams of blood coming from the house and was asking if it’s possible to knock on the client’s house so that we get to ask him what he was slaughtering in the house that was leaving blood shading all over,” Muthoni shared.

According to the information shared, the lady was cut into pieces by a saw, and the act was brutally done as her hair was plucked from her head. Her legs were cut, and the head cannot be traced up to now. Many are now thinking the killer may have made his way with it.

Kasarani DCI Jimmy warned Airbnb operators to be more cautious from now on by ensuring that all their BNBs should be under CCTV surveillance 24 hours a day, as they might just be held accountable the next time something of that sort happens, and it just as well appears that they never compiled as directed.
