Why Masauti Would Do Anything For His Mother

Kenyan artist Masauti opens up about why he would do anything for his mother.

Speaking in an interview with SPM BUZZ, Masauti said that he would do anything for his mother because of the many sacrifices she has made for him and because he is one of her mother’s favorite children.Adding to that, his mother has suffered a lot trying to make ends meet for him.

“Mama yangu ameteseka sana..amefanya biashara za kubeba mtoto mgongoni..ingekua mimi si msanii saa hii tungekua tunauza snacks na mama yangu.” Masauti said.

Responding to the matter of many artists building up multimillionaire mansions and buying expensive rides for themselves and their spouses, he said that, as per him, he plans on building his mother a mansion as a token of appreciation for always supporting and sacrificing much for him.

“Mimi namjengea mama nyangu najaribu ile nyumba yake nimjengee impendezee…Mama yangu amenitoa mbali.”

He said that his success is tied to his mother, and for that, he will forever be grateful and do what his mother directs him to do, like, for instance, the way he shaved his signature dreadlocks.

Masauti also shared an insight on why he adores the late artist Ally B and even put him in his profile picture when he passed away.

He praised AllyB, saying that he is an outstanding individual who showed him the way and always challenged him to rise by exposing him to concerts and bringing the best out of him.

“Ally B ndio msee wa kwanza kuniambia nisiogope nilikua naingia stage na curtain raise show mingi sa AllyB. Yeye ndio msanii mwenye alini motivate kuniambia naweza.” Masauti clarified.

Masauti concluded by saying that he will be dropping an album soon that is dedicated to the late artist Allyb, saying the album is meant to push Allyb’s agenda.

Masauti hinted that the problem as to why many artists crumble out of depression and end up dying is because they don’t normally talk about their issues as they are supposed to,urging them to always open up and speak.
