Tory Lanez Issues a Statement After Receiving a 10 Year Sentence

Canadian Rapper Daystar Peterson, commonly known as Tory Lanez, has issued a statement following his prison sentencing for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Earlier today, Lanez took to his social media account and shared a statement saying that he is not responsible for what he is being accused of and that he will never let anyone intimidate him, regardless of the situation he is in.

“I have never let a hard time intimidate me. I will never let jail time eliminate me. Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence, and I always will.”

He went on to say that he would not bow down to what he was just accused of, saying that he was very innocent. Promising to fight until the very end and sticking to his word, which is that he is innocent.

“In no way, shape, or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of. I remain firm in my stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do.

“I’ve faced adversity my whole life, and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall and I refuse to stop fighting until I come out victorious. Tough times don’t last; tough people do.”

He concluded by thanking his fans and family for always supporting him.

Apparently, Tory Lanez was being accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion several times on both of her feet, something that he has refused to take ownership of.
