Things You Should Never Do in Public

Published

on

There are a couple of things you should never do in a public space, and more importantly, the most sensitive ones.

Chewing While Your Mouth is Wide Open
Chewing while your mouth is open is something that not very many people enjoy or embrace, especially if you are the one who chews the loudest. The next time you eat, pay attention to whether you are chewing with your mouth open; if you are, then don’t If you can’t chew silently, then don’t chew at all.

Urinating Everywhere
Yeah! I know you didn’t see that coming; it is actually the way I have said it: passing it out relieving your bladder in broad daylight and even worse in public and on a busy street. There are many ways you can use public washrooms. If you can’t make it to your place, just don’t embarrass yourself in public; it is not necessary.

Talking Loudly on Phones
Mobile phones were initially created for a personal communication revolution, but many are not even taking that into consideration. You’d hear in a matatu it is all quiet and a phone rings, and someone shouts so loudly until you all opt you shouldn’t have boarded in that vehicle.

No matter how interesting and good you may think you are, nobody wants to hear you screaming on the phone. If you can’t talk silently, then don’t pick!

Changing Your Kid’s Diapers
Parents with babies have a hard time when it comes to traveling, feeding their infants, and changing diapers. I think the most you can do, which is even odd at times because it makes us compromise with what to focus on, is breast feeding, but changing diapers is too far more, especially if we are in the same vehicle. On that, you will be crossing a line that is not acceptable! There are washrooms for that.

Staring at people
If you are one who loves staring at people for long hours, then don’t be doing that because it makes people feel so uncomfortable and free. It makes people begin to doubt themselves when they are so okay and good. I advise as civilized people, we should try to make those around us feel safe and confident, especially comfortable. Like, why would you stare at my nose for 10 minutes? If there’s something wrong, there are easier, ideal ways you can do that rather than staring long for people.

Spitting on the Side Walk
Walking while spitting is a complete turn-off; it is an act that is not appealing at all because saliva can carry some bacterial diseases.

Adjusting Your Clothes
Sometimes clothes do what they want to; bras can be uncomfortable at times, and you get that sense of wanting to adjust them. For minor adjustments, when it comes to looking decent, that’s okay but you shouldn’t make it a big deal.

Yelling at your child
It is okay to try and discipline your child so that he is rightfully corrected and picks the right way to do things, but screaming at them in public is not right at all, as that might affect them mentally and psychologically.
