Terence Creative Discloses The Secret Behind His Success

Kenyan comedian and content creator Terence Creative has shared the reason behind his success.

Speaking in an interview with our very own journalist, Nthenya, at the Jyuuce Party, he said that the secret to making it as a content creator and creative in the entertainment industry is by involving your spouse in what you are doing.

Terence believes that there’s always something special when creatives work with their spouses.

“It gives you a lot of excitement, some safety… You’re relaxed that whatever comes, there’s always that one person who will support you till the end.”

He also talked about his latest song that’s on YouTube called ‘Mwalimu wa Math’, saying that the song was released so that it encourages all those who failed in school on the same note to act as proof enough that nothing is impossible as long as you keep your head up and stay committed to whatever that you are doing.

“Mwalimu wa hesabu is not a particular teacher; it is just the lessons you’ve had in life.”

He also advised fellow creatives to help others grow so that the entertainment industry remains relevant in the long run, hinting that he also mentors a couple of young creatives that he mentors.

“Personally, I have people that I mentor one-on-one You can’t mentor everyone, but in the future, there are plans where I can put up an institute and invite people. Nifunze watu mambo ya kuandika content, script, and MC.”

The father of two said that he plans on mentoring a few individuals, who will in turn help guide the others to succeed as well.

He concluded by telling the public to embrace their insecurities and praised Abel Mutua for putting on a show and for making him realize his potential that he hadn’t initially realized.
