The running legend, Sir Mo Farah, opens up on some of his secrets that the public wasn’t aware of among them his real identity, adding that he has kept his secret since he was a kid mentioning that speaking out made him feel sane.

“There’s something about me you don’t know. It’s a secret that I’ve been hiding since I was a child,” says Sir Mo.

Sir Mohammed Muktar Jama Farah is a British long-distance runner who has as of now won ten global championship gold medals hence named the most successful male track distance runner ever.

“I’ve been keeping it for so long, it’s been difficult because you don’t want to face kit. Often my kids ask questions, “continued Sir Mo, “That’s the main reason in telling my story because I want to feel normal and not feel like you’re holding on to something.”

Speaking on his new documentary from BBC, the father of four reveals ‘the real Mo,’ narrating on his real identity and the struggles that he has been living with to date.

“To be able to face it and talk about the facts, how it happened, why it happened, it’s tough. The truth is I’m not who you think I am. And now whatever the cost, I need to tell my real story,” speaks Sir Mo.

The Olympic star disclosed that his real name is Hussein Abdi Kahin, but got his British Citizenship under the name Mohammed Farah which he was given when he was trafficked to the United Kingdom.

He revealed that he was given the name by those who flew him over from Djibouti saying that he was only eight or nine years when he was taken from home to stay with family in Djibouti after his father’s death after which he was flown over to the UK by a woman had never met and wasn’t even related to.

Fans and friends have continued to praise Sir Mo upon his trafficking disclosure.
