Kenyan socialite Shakilla has asked the Kenyan government to review the visa rules following the recent mysterious murder cases that have been taking place in airbnb rooms in Nairobi, Kenya, instigated by foreigners who have different motives for the young ladies they meet online.
Kenyan socialite Shakilla shared a thread on her Instagram page saying that the recent airbnb deaths have become so rampant, calling out the Kenyan government to do something about the visa rules.
“With what is going on in Kenya now, specifically the Airbnb business, the government should really think about the visa rule!!!
The number of cases will continue to rise. I mean, these foreigners are going to stay in the BNBs! These girls in the streets ain’t safe.” Shakilla’s statement read:.
She believes that if the government doesn’t do something about it, then the cases are just going to keep getting worse.
This comes after a 20-year-old young female lady was brutally murdered in an Airbnb house in TRM Drive, Roysambu, Nairobi, Kenya, and her body parts were dismembered by a Nigerian man.
Through videos shared online, residents on Thika Road in Roysambu looked surprised, wondering what had happened, whereas others are now flagging all the BnBs in that area.
The house manager of the airbnb, Risper Muthoni, said that an unidentified person booked the airbnb on Saturday at 3 p.m., and after making payments, she didn’t follow much about what he was doing at the premise.
The case is still unfolding, and more details are yet to be uncovered, including one that has just been shared by the family: that the serial killer had asked for 500,000 ksh from the family. Investigations are still underway, as are efforts to see if they can get ahold of the young lady’s head that the serial killer decapitated and made away with.
