Octopizzo finally addresses beef between him and Khaligraph Jones

Kenyan artist Octopizzo, commonly known as ‘Namba nane‘, revealed that he would never work with Khaligraph Jones, aka Omollo, because he doesn’t like him.

Speaking in a sit-down interview with Willy Mtuva at the Mseto East Africa show on radio a while back, Octopizzo singled out one thing he wouldn’t tolerate from his rivals or colleagues, which is invading his personal space. He talked about why he wouldn’t see himself working with O.G., the reason being that he made the beef personal.

As much as being in the rap game and being famous comes at a cost, which is making enemies along the way, he would not entertain anyone speaking ill of his family or his partner, as by doing so they would’ve crossed the line.

“Kitu watu hawa understand ni aty mimi na yeye inasmuch as tuko na beef na wewe inafaa nikudiss it out on a lyrical level, venye umedunga, venye bling yangu ni mboo!! But ukienda unatouch mtoi wangu…mresh wangu hiyo sasa si beef, hiyo ni personal.

Nitakungoja streets nikuulize hiyo ni nini ulikua unasema budaaa!!!” Octopizzo clarified.

He added that Khaligraph touched something he was not supposed to reason why he wouldn’t work with him, but he, however, said, Never say never, saying that if at all he humbly approaches him and makes amends in the right manner, then he might just consider his decision, but as it stands, the two will not work together.

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones, on the other hand, opened up about his long-standing feud with legendary rapper Octopizzo in an interview with Oga Obinna some time ago, revealing that Octopizzo has never been fond of him.

“Hanipendangi uyo boyz, kuna tu mtu hunafeel hupendangi, na huwezi mblame, damu tu zilikataa,” Khaligraph explained.

Ata siwezi mblame, ata ningekuwa yeye, singejipenda, singependa Khali.”

The two artists have been known for their simmering rivalry over the years, and who knows, maybe someday this will all just be in the past, and they will definitely work together.
