Kenyan media personality and comedian Obinna Ike Igwe has shared the reason why he never aired Churchill’s show interview.

Speaking in his own show Obinna Tv, He leaned forward, his expression thoughtful as he addressed the question that had often been posed to him by his viewers and colleagues alike why he never had Daniel Ndambuki aka Churchill on board saying it was basically because at one point in life he did an interview with him and was denied footage.

Obinna goes on saying that he made an agreement with Churchill’s producer that if at all they were not going to allow him to air the interview he had done with Churchill, then they shouldn’t also air his.

After a while, Obinna’s interview was aired without his consent, despite having agreed that something of that sort was not going to happen—something that he says really upset him up until he left office and decided to confront Churchill about it.

“About a week later, I see my story on YouTube; it had over 30,000 views. I was very angry. The following morning, after the show at Kiss, I confronted Churchill and asked him why they had aired my story despite having agreed that was not going to happen.

I was upset and returned back to studio and even if they brought it down I was really angry because they broke our agreement and ever since I have never thought of having him on board and of course I don’t entirely know what the future holds, to answer your question that’s why.” Obinna responded to his fans live on camera offering a small, rueful smile.
