Obinna Opens Up On the Challenges He Faced on Shooting His ‘Kula Cooler Show’

Kenyan comedian Oga Obinna has talked about the challenges he faced when he was shooting his ‘Kula Cooler Show’.

Speaking in an interview we had with him, Obinna opened up, saying that he acknowledges Eddie Butita for having guided him with the idea of coming up with a new show.

He, however, pointed out instances where he faced challenges, saying that he had lost the first footage of his Kula Cooler show that he said was shot with the help of Eddie Butita and the SPM BUZZ media team, but some things happened along the way, and apparently the footage couldn’t be traced.

“Butita is an amazing writer. He is an amazing creative. One thing you guys don’t know about Eddie Butita is that before I started the ‘Kula Cooler Show, I looked for him. We sat down, I told him what I wanted to do, and we came up with the whole concept, and then we shot.

Actually, the first season of Kula Cooler, Butita and Spm Media Group shot it for me, and unfortunately, wakapoteza footage wote. Then Butita offered to reshoot them at his expense. He even convinced them we  reshooted.” Obinna shared.

Thanks to the help of Eddie Butita, he agreed that they would reshoot the show again and went ahead to convince the cast that was on the show to come back as they tried reshooting the whole show. That shows how much respect Oga has for Eddie; he not only helped Obinna come up with the idea and helped in scripting but also offered the shooting equipment for the show, hence the reason why Obinna said he will always support him because he came true for him back then when he was still trying to find his way up.

As much as that may have upset him, they sat down as adults and came up with a solution, and there’s no bad blood between the two of them.
