Kenyan controversial gospel artist Chris Embarambamba has defended his music, urging the public to stop criticizing him and instead consider listening closely to his music before they judge him.

Speaking through a video he shared online, the ‘Nimwagie Ndani’ hitmaker expressed his disappointment to all those claiming that he should be banned from singing, saying that they are getting it all wrong as the music he is releasing isn’t as bad as they are saying it is.

He urged them to consider listening to his music that he started releasing way back three years ago, adding that it is the only way they would see he is indeed spreading the gospel. They should also consider listening to his songs from the beginning to the end, as that is the only way they will get to see that his music is praising the all-mighty and not with the agendas.

“Watu wanafikiria nyimbo zenye naimba ni za tabia mbaya… na bibilia inasema mazungumzo mabaya huharibubtabia njema… Shida iko kati yangu na nyinyi ni understanding the song..because mtu anaskia mwanzo anaanza kujudge…skiza from the start to the end hautakosa kupata kitu hapo.” Embarambamba said.

Embarambamba, a Kisii artist, is known to pull funny stunts as he sings, so when performing all his tracks, he was asked back then in an interview why he does what he does, to which he responded by saying that he is rolling with the current trends and thought of doing so to get people’s attention because people love controversial things.

Embarambamba, who normally starts his song with sensitive words that look to be provoking not just the public but God’s word, feels like he should be guided on how to do it so that he doesn’t ruin the gospel industry.
