Nigerian Artist Tems has Cancelled Her Performance in Kenya

Tems referred to as Temilade Openiyi born 11th June 1995 (27 years) A Nigerian Singer who has released a number of Albums that have been hitting the airwaves lately having released more than 5 Albums.
Her Net Worth is over $250,000 having done collaboration with international artists that made her be recognized globally, She is among the best music artist in Nigeria who won a BET Award among many more others, and she has done collaborations with top artists like Wiz kid and Drake that did a song “Wait for you that featured in the hot 100 on the Billboard.
She has said that she will not be participating in the Tukutane Festival that was going to happen in Kenya due to circumstances.

She tweeted,” Hey Kenya. Honestly, It’s Quite heartbreaking to say this, but I will not be able to perform at the Tukutane Festival due to circumstances beyond my control. I am disappointed, as you all are, but I look forward to coming and giving you the show that you deserve. Love you all”

The Tukutane Festival Team wrote a note to the public and said that they had it all planned, quoting their exact words. “As at three days ago, all was going according to the schedule and plan. We paid for Tems in full 15 days before the performance date and to our surprise as soon as the payment was made, her manager mentioned that she is no longer comfortable coming to Kenya and just does not want to perform for her Kenya fans. We were shook, heart broken and financially wounded,”

The promoters of the Festivals took to apologizing to the public for the shortcomings and assuring them that they are looking forward to working it out and make the festival date public soon, as it has been postponed until further notice.
As they concluded with emphasizing that people should all work as a team as everybody plays their part or rather role and that encouraged artists that they be cautious with the decisions they make based on their career as they might affect their lives and others who might be involved.

There were concerns from people that it might be because of Fave’s Concert that had issues that made TEMS change her mind… Nobody knows. What is now real is that she won’t be attending the Festival.
