Mulamwah Takes Legal action Against His Baby Mama Carrol Sonnie For Defaming Him

Kenyan content creator and comedian Mulamwah has taken legal action against his baby mama, Carrol Sonnie, for defaming his name and saying things that are not true to just tarnish his good reputataion.

Earlier today, Mulamwah shared a letter from his advocate pointing out the things that his baby mama has been up to by claiming that he is a deadbeat dad.

The father of two and radio presenter shared the information on his Instagram page, saying that he has now opted to take a different route now that the diplomacy route failed to work.

Below is what the Advocate’s letter read, addressing Carrol Sonnie:

“You have, without cause, continued to slander our client while simultaneously denying him access to the minor… You created the false impression that our client has refused or declined to share the cost of raising the minor. This is despite your own acknowledgement that on several occasions our client has sent you money via MPesa for upkeep, which money you have reversed back to our client without offering a reason.” Part of the advocate’s letter read:

It goes on explaining and highlighting how Carrol Sonnie has gone ahead and removed Mulamwah’s surname from the baby and even used the child to propagate false information about the father. It is because of this that the advocates informed her that she had breached the minor’s rights to privacy by exposing her online without her consent or the father’s consent, leave alone tarnishing the child’s father time and time again, even after ignoring the support the father has been sending her way to support his child.

The letter ends by advising Carrol Sonnie to abide by the three terms shared by the Advocate, failing to which the matter will be taken to court:

“You publicly retract the defamatory statements and offer a public apology. The retraction and apology shall be given the same prominence as the defamatory statements.”

“You immediately delete all images and videos of the minor from your YouTube channel, as you are commercializing the minor on a channel that you are using to propagate abusive and defamatory content.”

“You share with us a copy of the minor’s current birth certificate and a written explanation for the reason behind altering the minor’s name without our client’s consent.”

Carrol Sonnie has been given a deadline of 10 days to act, failing to which she will have to go to court, where matters will be handled differently than they are at the moment.

Nobody saw this coming more, especially now that the two were engaging in a TikTok challenge of ‘Of course I am a baby daddy in Kenya and Baby Mummy’ the other way around, sending messages to each other.
