Milly Chebby Disappointed after Jackie Matubia Failed to turn up for Wash Wash 4 Premiere

Kenyan Brand Ambassador and Wife to Terence Creative Milly Chebby was left disappointed after her close friend Jackie Matubia missed the Wash Wash 4 premiere that was taking place at the Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

Speaking in an interview with Trudy Kitui, she downplayed the absence of friend Jackie, saying that they have talked about it for quite some time and that it is now time to move on and focus on other things that matter.

“Tumepiga hii story ya Jackie before tupremiere saa hizi tuanze kupiga vitu zingine.” Milly Chebby explained.

She acknowledged Jackie Matubia’s absence, saying it may have happened for a good reason, and maybe it was meant to happen that way because life can give you things that you least expect, and it turns out that they were supposed to go that way so that things align and be a success.

“Ni life men kuna wasee wamekam kwa life yako for a certain season and perhaps purpose yake ilikua hiii niruke niingie hapa na maybe hiyo season God ameimaliza… so tusilazimishe na nyinyi pia msilazimishe… So saa hii tuanze kupiga, good vibes, and inshallah.” Milly shared.

She also clarified that, as far as that is a concerning question, she wouldn’t speak for her, and people should let it be that way, as that is maybe how it was supposed to be.

“I can’t speak for my sister right now; let’s talk about something else.” Milly clarified.

This comes days after the two were reunited at Radio Jambo with Massawe Japani, who called Jackie live on the radio so that she could reunite them. This is when Jackie Matubia promised to attend the Wash Wash Premiere, something that Milly was anticipating, saying she was a part of it and wouldn’t want her to miss it.

Although she appreciated and acknowledged the presence of other couple celebrities that turned out to support her, whom she called by name, the likes of Wahu and Nameless, Diana Bahati and her husband Bahati, Celestine Ndinda, and Abel Mutua, amongst many others, came out to support her craft.
