Maandy unapologetically tells off the likes of Habida & other critics picking on Arbantone music

Kenyans are now jamming to the newest music genre, Arbantone, which has has seen risen unexpectedly, with new artists starring.

Despite the music genre making a statement to other music in the 254, critics have not been left behind.

One of the conspicuous figures who shared their sentiments on the music genre include musical artist Habida, who claims the genre is just a remix of viral songs.

On the other hand, rapper Octopizzo also shared his sentiments on the music genre, terming it as ‘riddim’ rather than Arbantone.

Renowned rapper Maandy (Kabaya) has now shared what she thinks about Habida, Octopizzo and other netizens criticizing the genre.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kabaya stated how Arbantone music has been making headlines in music mixes from Kenyan DJ’s; not forgetting how viral they’ve been.

The musician has made a couple of hits in the genre, including ‘bubbly bubbly’ which has garnered almost 4 million views in just 5 months. Other Arbantone artists who have thrived in the genre include Sean MMG, Tipsy G, YBW Smith, Gody Tennor, among several others.
