Leornard Omusula Speaks On Why He Decided To Quit Alcohol

The popular ‘Jina Hutaki’ creative Leonard Omusula speaks on why he decided to stop taking alcohol.

According to him, he said that he used to take liquor way back when he was at the age of 20 years, saying he has been drinking it for quite a while, and it reached a point where he decided to stop taking it and leave it to the experts.

“Ningependa kusema nilianza pombe nikiwa na miaka ishirini nkasukumana nayo mpaka imefika mahali nimewachia wenye wanaeza kunywa waendelee na hiyo safari.

Kwa sababu kwangu kama ilifika hapo hivo ilibidi nibebe mkono.” Omusula added.

Above all, he urged the public to always be real with their doctors, as those are the only people who might help them, and the least they should do is be real with them without hiding any detail from them, as they are the ones who know the type of treatment or medication you may need.

“Heri udanganye msupa lakini usidanganye daktari wako mwenye anakutibu kama ukikohoa damu sema ukweli ndio daktari akusaidie kwa sababu saa hiyo yeye ndio anakuanga mungu wako wa pili.” Omusula advised.

He highlighted on the addiction part, saying it is a disease that has no cure, and if you can avoid it, the better because dealing with it, is not easy.

He lastly acknowledged his brother Arnold Scott, who helped him by connecting him with their area MP, who helped by enrolling him in rehab, where he has been recuperating.
