This being the biggest collaboration between kenyan artists and a Tanzian – many have expressed pride, seeing Gen Z artists are writing new history in music as they hope to take it international in the near future.

Speaking on how he landed the collabo with Marioo, Fathermoh recently told Kiss FM that it the Statue hit song was never planned for – but it came to be courtesy of Ssaru.

According to Fathermoh, he happened to bump into Marioo during a recording session that Ssaru had invited him for; and  having already recorded another song with Marioo, he (Fathermoh) decided to sample Ssaru’s project not knowing he would eventually land a verse.

Well, just like that – Fathermoh ended up recording the hook and chorus to hitsong Statue – giving it his master touch hence the current hype.

Fathermoh has since proven to be an assert in the music industry and together with the likes of Sean MMG, Gody Tennor, Maandy, Femi One among others – kenya finally has hope for the music industry.
