JOVIAL SAYS SHE IS DONE BEING THE GOOD PERSON

Kenyan female musician Jovial has announced her stand as a music artist, saying that she is done being the good girl.

Speaking through her social media page, she said that she is tired of always giving and getting nothing in return.

“I’m done being the good girl, always giving but not receiving! I’ve been giving for years forcing people to like me and forcing relationships, but I’m not done.”

She went on narrating that the experience is entirely exhausting, more especially if you are an artist.

Adding that she always drains herself trying to please others, without them knowing that she also gets deprived of it.

What hurts her the most is the fact that the public thus people can never take a no for an answer as they always think and believe that they should always be listened to even when circumstances are hard.

“People hate it when you say “No” they’re used to being told “Yes”

In addition to that, she also says that people don’t necessarily value you as a person, as they only like what you have to offer to them. They base your relationship as per what you have for them.

She concludes, saying that having a good heart is like being under a spell, as there’s nothing it brings to you other than trouble and demanding.
