Kenyan Media Personality Willis Raburu has urged parents to support their children to grow their talent.

Speaking during the Battle of Choirs at Nairobi Festival, Willis Raburu said that it’s high time parents support their children with what they may need to grow themselves, as it will help them build their brand.

According to Willis, as per the current situation in the country, parents should always focus with the potential of their child at a young age so that they avoid the sagas of their children being stranded jobless after finishing school.

With Parents supporting their children it’s good for it will help them be independent.

He also said that talent has been forgotten for quite some time, the reason why their potential has not been seen.

Willis was part of the crew that was organizing the battle of choirs, where he was handling media communication and resource mobilization.

Willis Raburu Praised the Nairobi Festival as it has helped a lot of people get their potential recognized and motivate them to keep doing what they are doing.
The event was aimed to promote the art and encourage artists that their talents are also important and do pay.

“The event is to promote art throughout the board.

It’s to show them that this talent that you have… Inalipa it’s some encouragement.”

Willis said that the competition is still on as the winners will receive 2 million, the second one will receive 1 million whereas the third will receive 500,000. It’s a win-win situation or rather deal to all the contestants as each of them, thus the 38 members will get 100,000 each.
