Kenyan artist Wahu, married to Nameless, had a short interview session with their daughter Tumi Mathenge, where she revealed how she deals with online bullies and how she answers all those bringing negativity into her life.

In a brief session she had alongside her mother, Wahu, she said that she blocks the individual and restricts them from ever gaining any information from her.

“Nakuchapa Block… Restricted and delete your chats because first of all, it is my phone; I opened social media myself; it is my account; I usually post when I feel confident; why should I give you the power to control me?” Tumi shared.

The 18-year-old goes on to say that the social media account she opened for herself cannot be controlled by other people, especially the haters who are hating on her and are trying to bring her down. The act she says was taught by her father, Nameless, who advised her to always delete the comments that are bad energy rather than propelling that conversation by responding to it.

“My dad gave me the advice to delete because there’s nothing you can do afterwards. You will always be like, I wish I could do something about it, but you see, now you can’t.” Mathenge shared.

She concludes by saying that she is taming and cutting off all the negativity from her life as early as now so that by the time she is older it doesn’t give her headache and she would have protected her peace.
