I am actually a Village Boy ~ President William Ruto Reacts to the Application of Make up on his face Before an interview Press

Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto reacted to the application of make-up on his face before starting a live interview with journalists.

William Ruto was captured being made ready for the press when he told the one who was doing it to leave him be because he is used to being that way, and he comes from the village.

“I told you I was actually not able to blend in with this. I am from the village; don’t put a lot of it on my face.

She had actually told me that she doesn’t want me to shine on television, and I told her that many are struggling out there trying to shine, and I am lagging behind.” President Ruto said.

This is actually a common practice by the news anchors, not just from top government officials; it is also done by actors and actresses so that they look good in front of the camera, and at times make-up can be done to just match the description of that person. It is not always entirely about looking good on camera; sometimes it is made to make a character be who they are said to be on script.
