Former Machachari Actor Govi Speaks on Why He Decided To Grow Out Beards

Former Machachari actor ‘Govi’ speaks on why he decided to grow out his beards even after being without any.

Sharing the news on his social media page, Govi said that he chose to grow out his beards because he never wanted to be associated with a character he once held.

“The reason why I decided to grow out beards and hair was because I wanted to stop being associated with a character I played for such a long time.” Govi shared.

He, however, acknowledged the look he initially had, saying that despite it giving him some back memories, it did indeed build his brand and name, leave alone the way he fit the character that he wore by being a small brother and son, but also defined him and made many recognize him from the rest.

He has, however, decided that he will be shaving his beard so that it reminds him of his old school friends and fellow actors, as well as fans. Adding to that, he is also looking forward to having a baby face. Given the way time is flying, he wouldn’t want to miss out on any good moments of enjoying his twenties, and if it means shaving his beard, then so be it. He looks forward to how he will come out after shaving, having held it for quite some time now.

Govi is a talented actor who has not only acted ‘machachari’ but is also known for his extraordinary acting abilities in ‘Pepeta Show’ that airs in Maisha Magic, amongst many other shows he has featured in, and stands out as an outstanding character. He also won the 2021 Kalasha Awards.
