Chef Maliha Explains Why Her Record hasn’t received Acknowledgement by the Guinness World Record

Famous Chef Maliha has explained why her record hasn’t received acknowledgement by the Guinness World Record.

Speaking through her social media page, she said that the reason she hasn’t received recognition yet is that she is not financially stable and can’t be able to hasten the process as many thought it should be.

She shared three reasons, explaining what is needed for her to receive recognition as the longest cooking chef without rest.

“I understand everyone is asking about what happened to August cooking marathon?? Here’s the thing, I had 3 options:

1. It takes 12 weeks for the Guinness World Record to verify you.
2. I have to pay 10,500 Euros to get an adjudicator to come to Kenya to verify me on the spot
3. Pay 650& to get verified in five working days!

With the above shared figures of money required and specifically on the 650 dollars so that she can be verified in 5 working days means she will need 70,000 ksh plus to get it done, something she went further on to say is impossible according to her because she can even barely raise 20,000 ksh.

She has opted to wait for 12 weeks to be verified, hinting that patience is the key now that she has run out of options, urging Kenyans to bear with her or consider helping her raise money so that she can pay to see that she is verified quick.

“I don’t have that type of money!!!! I can’t even barely reach 20k in donations from my till NO 8504686. Therefore, I will wait for GWR to verify me in 12 weeks, I hope y’all have understood me.

Patience is the Key, I have no choice.

Help me raise enough money to pay GWR and bring the record to Kenya.”
