Kenyan digital creator and entrepreneur Basbushka has opened up about how he was once used by a Kenyan celebrity who surprised him with a gift only to come take it later when the cameras had stopped rolling.

Speaking to one of the local media persons, Babushka said that he was once taken advantage of by a celebrity, whom he claims is well known despite refusing to share the identity of the person.

Babushka revealed that he was approached by a celebrity who was of good heart, telling him that the Lord had helped him enough and so he thought he should share the blessing with others, which is why he decided to gift him a car.

“I honestly didn’t know that it was unplanned, Kiki. For me, hiyo gari, before ikuje nilipigiwa simu nikaambiwa, I really love what you are doing, and I feel God has blessed me enough. Babushka explained further that later on, after 2 months, when he had gone home and the car was prayed for and made public, it was his car, Things turned around when the celebrity approached him. Upon his return from home, he asked him to lend him the car so that he could use it at a wedding, and given that the car wasn’t his, he gladly accepted.

As much as it hit him hard, he admitted that it did teach him a lot, especially motivating him to work hard, be independent, and be in a position to own his own ride someday. “Imenifunza Bro, imenifanya niwork hard juu najua soon nitabuy yangu.” Babushka revealed.
