AKOTHEE PARTS WAYS WITH LOVER NELLY OAKS

The self-proclaimed president of the single mothers Esther Akoth alias Akothee confirms break up rumors of her and lover Nelly Oaks.

The singer confirmed the breakup on Wednesday through her Instagram page saying that she has chosen to focus on her career and her new found happiness.

“I have walked out of other relationships with different ups and downs, so this last one shouldn’t be a shock or a surprise. It’s just a personal decision, I need time to concentrate on my new found happiness with less destruction, I need to work for myself and my career, I am not ready for any commitment, questions or answers to what transpired just didn’t want to hurt anyone. But sorry it is what it is,” she wrote.

The singer asked her fans to respect Nelly taking in consideration that their relationship involves their families too.

“Me and Mr. N have a family relationship back in Rongo, for that matter let’s respect family and keep family RESPECT. He is not someone I just picked on the streets. So for that matter, Wishing all of you the best of life,” added Akothee.

The ex, Nelson Oyugi popularly known as Nelly Oaks was the singer’s manager in which the two have a long history both businesswise and romantically.

The award winning singer first hinted out to her fans on April when she posted,
“Nimewachwa imagine….I am single again,Dont take this relationship thing seriously.”
“Do you remember when I told you I am taken? Well till death do us part has just parked and left! Am single again guys… the road to relationship is always under construction,” wrote Akothee.

The singer had earlier stayed for a long time without introducing her boyfriend to the public. A few months ago is when she publicly admitted that she was indeed in a relationship with Nelly Oaks who was her manager.

However mixed reactions have been felt as some of her fans say that she may be clout-chasing ahead of her new song’s release as Nelly Oaks is yet to address this matter publicly.
