Ababu Namwamba Retains His Position as President Ruto Reshuffles the Cabinet Secretaries

Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto on Wednesday Reshuffled his cabinet.

The move saw many ministers being changed to hold other positions, while some retained theirs.

Only Eight ministries in total were affected with the change, leaving others intact on their posts.

President Ruto expanded the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary to include the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs

Below are the changes made by the President:

PS Julius Korir has been taken to the State Department of Water and Sanitation.

PS Geofreey Kaituko has been moved to the State Department of Shipping and Maritime Affairs.

Principal Secretary Shadrack Mwadime has been moved to the State Department of Labour and Skills Development.

Principal Secretary Paul Ronoh has been moved to the State Department of Crop Development.

PS Idris Dokota has been moved to the State Department for Cabinet Affairs.

PS Ann Wango’mbe has been reassigned to the State Department of Gender and Affirmative Action.

PS Veronica Nduva has been moved to the State Department for Performance and Delivery Management.

PS Harsama Kello took over the State Department for the ASALs and Regional Development.

PS Alice Wahome heads over to the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, taking over from Moses Kuria.

Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria on the other hand has been moved to the newly reconstituted and renamed Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management.

Rebecca Miano now replaces Kuria at the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry,

Alfred Mutua, on his part, heads to the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife.

Aisha Jumwa will be the new minister of the newly created ministry of Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage
