Former Radio Presenter Obinna Ike Igwe has shared what inspired him to tattoo his body.

Speaking during an interview with our very own Silva Kido of Spm Buzz, he said that his kids are the ones behind it, although he had gotten one earlier that he said was out of peer pressure and wanted to stand out from the rest.

On his left arm he has tattooed a scroll that has all the names of his three children.

The father of four also said that if ever he decides to get more children, he will go and Tattoo another name on him as the scroll on his body will just be extended.

According to him, the tattoos on his body motivate him in the sense that he always thinks of delivering and giving his best each time he looks at them.

“When I normally look at this Tattoo, it reminds me to worker harder…Because I wouldn’t want my kids to go through the life I went through when I was alive.

Each time I look at this Tattoo..Am like we better go to work no matter the situation.”

He dismissed claims that he tattooed his body for ladies and said that he did it because he valued himself more.

“No it wasn’t really for the ladies it was for me.”

He got his first Tattoo on his right arm alongside his mum, despite being warned about it.

Disclosed that Tattos are very painful to do and very addictive in the sense that each time you have one you always want to add more.

Tattoos are an addiction when you have one, you always want to have more.”

Obinna had always wanted to have a tattoo and considering the fact he came from a religious family he decided that the only thing he would put on his body is his children’s name. He expressed his love for his children saying that he loves them and each time he doesn’t see them around he is always worried.

“I love children…Kids are blessing, angels…they make the house lively… Me when my kids are around I always feel at peace…..When they are not around…. I always worry Wamwkula kweli..wamelala kweli… and so I always call them.”
