Akothee has warned bloggers in no uncertain terms not to use her name in a derogatory way for their own promotional purposes. The singer-songwriter made the announcement on her Instagram and claimed that she also blogs.

Akothee has threatened to sue the guilty parties for a whopping Ksh 300 million.The day when bloggers became household names is over, Akothee said. These days, there is simply a bitter, lost generation hiding behind their computers, seeking followers and influence in order to make a life at whatever cost.

She went on to say that she believes celebrity endorsements are a good way for blogs to get readers because of the high profile of the endorsing celebrity.The woman, who is a mother of five, lashed out at bloggers, calling them “broke and impoverished at heart” for focusing exclusively on the unpleasant aspects of celebrities’ lives.

She elaborated that her shattered marriages with her three biological fathers made it impossible for her to provide words of hope to others in their time of need.
She then said that anyone detected on the losing side will be fined 300 million shillings. The self declared president of single mothers has never been shy but has been vocal with her personal life.
