Kenya will be doing the miss world Kenya competition again this year at December, for starters. Miss Kenya is a beauty contest for women in which a variety of ladies from different countries compete to be selected as the most beautiful.
This year event will be held at Two Rivers Mall on December 10th as they will celebrating 50 years of existence as well. There are gifts for grabs as well ksh 250,000 alongside a crown.
It was launched at Two Rivers on Tuesday in Nairobi. There were more than 900 women who stood up for the contest that wanted to take over from the departing Miss Sharon Obara.
Earlier this month the results came out as there were shot listed to 42 women. The ladies will be going to a boot camp from 28th this month to 9th of December here they will be coached and told what it entails being miss Kenya.
There will be other competitions that the 42 women will be subjected to so that they ensure the numbers are decreased to 16 women who will then take part in the finals.
Research has it that Kenya has won the miss world Africa title four times in the last five years
