The news of Kibbett’s promotion comes after her seven-year journey of delivering sports news on KBC. In addition, sharing her excitement on social media, Kibbett expressed gratitude to KBC’s management for trusting her with this new role..

“After seven incredible years of bringing you all things sports, I’m stepping into a new chapter, with the same energy you know and love!” Kibbett wrote. She assured her fans that this transition wouldn’t mean the end of her sports reporting. “Don’t worry, sports fans! I’ve still got you covered every Monday to Thursday,” she added, hinting that Fridays would now have an extra spark with her anchoring the news.

Kibbett later announced her debut on Easy Friday, inviting viewers to join her on her first night as the anchor. Furthermore, she expressed her excitement, saying, “You asked for it, and here it is! After countless requests for me to move from sports to main news, I’m proud to announce my debut as the lady anchor for the Easy Friday Bulletin!” she posted enthusiastically.

Her debut received positive feedback, and Kibbett later thanked her audience for their warm support.”Wrapped up my debut on Easy Friday! I’m beyond grateful for all the love and beautiful feedback. Your support means the world to me!” she wrote after the show, already gearing up for the next broadcast.
